What You Do	What We Do
Make sure there’s a clear a pathway to your access point where service will enter your home. (When possible, we will use an existing point of entry to bring the fiber into your home. However, in some cases, it may be necessary to drill a small hole.)	We install the ONT (Optical Network Terminal) where the fiber connects from the street into your home.
Make sure there is access to a grounded outlet where fiber is entering the home. Our installation technicians will try to use existing wiring whenever possible.	We connect the ONT to the power.
Let us know where you’d like your router to go. It should be accessible and clear of large appliances. (They can emit electronic interference).	We run the wires from the ONT to the router.
Tell us about any potential dead spots you may be concerned about in your home.	We test signal strength and advise on additional Wi-Fi access points, if needed, to cover your whole home.
Connect all your devices to your new fiber-optic network.	We check to make sure everything’s working properly before we leave.

What can I expect from the installation process?

1. Prepaid Mastercard: Eligible orders of 500 Mbps in select markets may receive a virtual $100 Prepaid Mastercard. Eligible orders of 1 Gig – 8 Gig may receive virtual $200 Prepaid Mastercard. Virtual card is issued by Pathward®️, N.A., Member FDIC, pursuant to a license from Mastercard U.S.A. Inc. No cash access or recurring payments. Can be used where Debit Mastercard is accepted online, for phone/mail orders, or in stores that accept mobile wallet. Customers will be eligible to redeem the gift card 120 days after installation and must redeem it within 60 days of redemption eligibility. Once redeemed, the gift card will expire 180 days from the date of redemption, after which unused funds will be forfeited. Terms and conditions apply. Customer must be current on their bill and in good standing.
