Today we heard final presentations from participants in the Fall 2018 session of our NorthState Tech Lab. We were impressed by the business plans developed by these entrepreneurs and the growth that had during their work at Tech Lab.
The NorthState Tech Lab is an entrepreneurial driven program that is designed to foster diversity in technology. Participants develop their business and achieve key milestones using skills from the hands-on workshops and insights from coaches and business experts.
The most recent Tech Lab class finished their semester with their final pitches, sharing of their future endeavors and exciting progress as they grew and scaled their businesses in the 10- week program. The 4 companies that were part of the Fall 2018 class included, Peacefully Profitable, WellStar360, 9th Floor Solutions and Onyx Ocean Technologies.
Peacefully Profitable helps business owners sustain retention and bottom-line with profitable productivity strategies, that will in turn help employees be more productive and meet their goals. Among other goals, Peacefully Profitable can help build team morale and keep employees engaged.
WellStar is a company committed to reversing type 2 diabetes and obesity as well as helping to form better relationships in communities. WellStar 360 uses an online wellness platform to help educate members and provide tools to reinforce positive lifestyle changes. (add image – wellstar.jpg)
9th Floor Solutions is an efficiency solutions company focused on lean business processes that increase revenue for human resources, technology and business operations. Of the services they provide, 9th Floor Solutions can help with application implementation, IT staffing and IT Project services.
Onyx Ocean is a software development company that specializes in custom software, mobile application development and website design. In addition, Onyx Ocean teaches kids 8-14 years old to code.
